Accommodation

`Quite simply the best` C. Wales, Lanarkshire

"Milking cows in winter was a good job. On a cold winter morning the byre was always warm, and leaning against a warm cow was at least comfortable."

Dennis Rae on milking at Barcloy (1938/1973).

Newly opened in May 2005, a former milking byre, our two fine holiday cottages are fully equipped and beautifully decorated. They lead out into attractive private gardens with views across 'Bonnie Galloway' to the Carsphairn hills.
